Hello! I am Claudia A. Escobar, a Colombian visual artista in the San Francisco Bay Area. I créate documentary films, lyrical non-fiction videos, animations, and video journalism. I illustrate and explore the magical world of the invisible beings that co-exist with us throughout life. As the director of the immigration lyrical documentary Dear Homeland, produced by KQED, I am curious about life, the magic around us, human and natural migration. Experimenting and collaborating with other humans is exciting for me. I like re-creating myself, contradicting my own theories and re-inventing my way of approaching the world.

Ilustro y exploro el mundo mágico de los seres invisibles que coexisten con nosotros a lo largo de la vida. Como directora del documental lírico sobre inmigración Dear Homeland, producido por KQED, siento curiosidad por la vida, la magia que nos rodea, la migración humana y natural. Experimentar y colaborar con otros humanos es emocionante para mí. Me gusta recrearme, contradecir mis propias teorías y reinventar mi manera de acercarme al mundo.
