About The Event
This workshop is the third one of the series Female Rainbow Workshops for Women:

Each workshop is independent. However, participating in the whole series will help you better understand which goddess is more active within, which you may need to cultivate, which to overcome, and how to tap the power of these enduring archetypes to become a better “heroine” in your own life story.
In this specific workshop we use Greek myths, Authentic Movement explorations and Expressive Art activities to invoke in our embodied presence, the qualities of Athena to connect to our wisdom and focus on what matters.
Athena is the goddess of Wisdom and Crafts. She presided over battle strategy in wartime and over domestic arts in peacetime. The martial and domestic skills associated with her involve planning and execution, activities that require purposeful thinking. Strategy, practicality and tangible results are hallmarks of her particular wisdom.
Athena is a feminine archetype: she shows that thinking well, keeping one's head in the heat of an emotional situation and developing good tactics in the midst of conflict, are natural traits for some women and can be developed for other women.
With guided and self-directed explorations, we will have the opportunity to delve into the logical, thoughtful, and practical qualities of this archetype to :
- develop your ability to think strategically and achieve what you want
- find your balance and use your wisdom in the midst of conflict
- appreciate making things that are both useful and esthetically pleasing
