Female Rainbow Group: Aphrodite

In this specific workshop, we use Greek myths, Authentic Movement explorations and Expressive Art activities to invoke in our embodied presence, the qualities of of Aphrodite, Goddess of Love and Beauty, Creative Woman and Lover, to awaken our sensuality and enjoy the sensory experiences of our bodies.

Aphrodite as the alchemical goddess provides a unique power of transformation, and is a tremendous force for change. The Aphrodite archetype governs women's enjoyment of love, beauty, sexuality and sensuality and impels women to fulfill both creative and procreative functions.

Structure:

Group is intimate, and the workshop will take place with a minimum of 3 participants and a maximum of 6.

Cost:

Early Bird registration is $77, until July 9

Regular Registration is $99.

Materials:

Art materials are included. Participants are welcome to buy the book of Jean Shinoda Bolen “Goddesses in Every Woman”, but it is not required for the workshop.

While we will be using practices for self-exploration this workshop is not a psychotherapy group or a replacement for working directly with a healthcare practitioner. A liability form will be signed at the day of the event.
