Authentic Movement for Couples

Feeling like doing something different, playful and meaningful with your partner on a Friday evening? Come to the Authentic Movement experience for Couples, a date designed to help you strengthen connection and enhance intimacy through loving presence, playful movement, and non-sexual touch. Couples of all genders and sexual orientation who are already in a relationship are welcome.

Maria will guide you on a journey to experience each other as you may never have before. We will start as a group with simple movement exercises that are playful to encourage even the shiest part of yourself to relax and have fun. Then you and your partner will continue with guided explorations of mirroring, eye contact, and physical touch with eyes closed, that will help you to see, listen, feel and appreciate each other in new, wholehearted ways. 

Please bring: Comfortable clothes that you can easily move. Your open presence and beginner’s mind as this workshop is mainly experiential. Movement explorations are adaptable to all physical abilities and conditions. 

About Authentic Movement:

In its traditional form, Authentic Movement is a practice that helps you develop a compassionate, non-judgmental understanding of your unique creative voice and essence. In this workshop we use for the first time the principles of Authentic Movement in a newly designed approach to help you connect with your partner, appreciate each other’s uniqueness and deepen the love for each other.
