Join us to explore and celebrate the diverse aspects of our female identity that are multifaceted, strong and vulnerable, like a rainbow. We will be invoking the qualities of Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt and Moon, Competitor and Sister, to strengthen our assertiveness and honor sisterhood.

About The Event
This workshop is the second one of the series Authentic Movement Workshops for Women: A Female Rainbow.

In this workshop we use Greek myths, Authentic Movement explorations and Expressive Art activities to invoke in our embodied presence, the qualities of Artemis in order to strengthen our assertiveness and honor sisterhood.
Artemis is the goddess of young natural life and birth. She is the sister, and “the archer with unerring aim”. She has an athletic, slender and youthful figure and she is the inspiration for the circle dances in the mountains.
As an archetype Artemis is “a personification of an independent feminine spirit” and “enables a woman to seek her own goals on terrain of her own choosing”. She provides the innate ability in a woman to connect with intensity, will and spirit of competition…
